The Greater Miami Youth Symphony Orchestra performs a variety of patriotic American selections. The youth symphony also performs with Elizabeth Caballero of Florida Grand Opera. HOMESTEAD
Features fireworks, entertainment, kid's rides and food. Entertainment includes two bands, a teenage choral group singing patriotic songs and kid's activities. Provides the opportunity to see the race track and pits. Grandstand seating open for the event. Coolers not permitted inside the speedway. Presented by Homestead Vice Mayor Judy Waldman and the city’s Parks and Recreation Department. BLACK POINT MARINA
Community Fireworks Display: Starts at 6 p.m. Sunday with fireworks at 9 p.m. 24775 SW 87th Ave. Combined event with Cutler Bay, Palmetto Bay and Pinecrest.

NORTH MIAMI BEACH

EL PORTAL

HIALEAH
Independence Day Celebration opens at 7 p.m. Sunday with Naturalization ceremony for 85 new citizens in honor of the city's 85th birthday. Also includes laser-and-fireworks show; Milander Park, 4700 Palm Ave., Hialeah.

Boy Scouts will begin selling hamburgers and hot dogs at 6 p.m. Sunday with fireworks at 9 p.m., which are set off on the country club driving range visible from the pool deck of Miami Shores Aquatic Center, 10200 Biscayne Blvd.; admission is $6 for guests of residents; $4 residents.
 
MIAMI SPRINGS
Parade steps off at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Rec Center at 1401 Westward Dr. to Miami Springs Golf and Country Club, 650 Curtiss Pkwy. Also includes a classic car show in the Miami Springs' Circle. The celebration continues with fireworks at the golf course at dusk on Sunday.
 
MICCOSUKEE 4th of JULY CELEBRATION
Opens 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday with music at 5 p.m. by KC and The Sunshine Band and El Gran Combo at 9 p.m. on Saturday and Ghost of Gloria at 8 p.m. on Sunday. MODEL CITY

Sunday, 4 p.m. with water slides, food, live music, fireworks at 9 p.m., 9365 Collins Ave., Surfside residents or hotel guests are admitted for free (with ID), otherwise, admission is $8 for adults and $5 for those 14 and younger.
 
SWEETWATER
